MEET THE ARTIST

Hello hello! I'm Kaitlin - a photographer and artist currently living in colorful, historic Charleston. I studied art in high school and college, and then photography became my one true love and everything else fell by the wayside. Over a decade later I found myself desperately in need of a creative rejuvenation and started painting and drawing again. It has been the breath of fresh air that I craved, and so good for my soul to work on art for myself again. 

I work mostly in acrylic paints and drawings, and I'm inspired by the landscapes that mean the most to me.  I grew up in the military and have lived in 8 different states and 2 other countries - Australia and the Azores. As an artist, I am obsessed with painting the places I love the most, the ones that are so deeply embedded in my soul they will always feel like home.
