This shoot was one of those special ones where the stars align to give you the best locations, your favorite style of outfits and a subject who is completely on the same wavelength when it comes to posing and photographic style. Photographing Mollie was a dream, and I am in love with all her photos!
Mollie is a 2018 Senior at Wando High School, and wanted to have her senior portraits taken in the fall when the weather starts to get a little cooler. Her mom works for Spoleto Festival so we based Mollie’s shoot around her office (it was so nice having accessible parking and a place to change other than a car!). Most of my sessions are further south and it was refreshing to discover completely new locations. We started the day wandering around the beautiful historic neighborhoods near George Street and found some absolutely gorgeous historic homes and colorful streets. In Mollie’s second outfit we shot quite a bit at Zero George, and the place is so unbelievably beautiful!. Mollie was so much fun to shoot – she’s modeled in the past and it was obvious from the second she stepped in front of my camera. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to ask and the whole day felt more like a fun collaboration between creatives than working with a client. I loved it! Thank you, Mollie, for being such a fun subject and being up for some fun, creative poses and ideas! I love how they turned out!
