I am entirely digital media based – all prices include both the cost of the session and an online gallery of high resolution retouched images. I do not offer proofs or release un-retouched images. Currently, I do not offer prints or collections, so there are no hidden costs or required packages. Session fees are due at the time of the shoot in either check or cash. Expect an estimated 3 weeks for processing and retouching portrait sessions.

Kaitlin took my senior pictures in Charleston and they turned out better than I could have ever imagined! I usually don’t like taking photos, but because of her friendly and easygoing personality she was able to turn my shoot into a memorable experience. Not only was the shoot so much fun, but the pictures turned out amazing! It was obvious how good she is at what she does. Kaitlin took my senior pictures while my mom and I were on vacation in Charleston in July 2021! When choosing a photographer Kaitlin’s photos looked absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with them! When we chose her to take my senior pictures, she was so helpful in giving advice on outfits, locations, and giving recommendations on where to get hair and make-up done at! Since we do not live anywhere close to Charleston it was a huge help to have someone guide us since we were not familiar with the location! Getting my senior pictures done in downtown Charleston and at Folly Beach with Kaitlin as my photographer is something I loved doing and I wish I lived closer to have her be my photographer for everything! Kaitlin created a wonderful experience for my daughter's senior photos. She was highly communicative and responsive from the point of my first email, helped guide us through the process, provided tips on choosing outfits, and gave recommendations on salons and makeup artist. As we don't live in the area all of this was greatly appreciated. When it came time to actually take the photos Kaitlin was a pleasure. She was professional and fun. She took our vision for the photographs and guided us to the perfect parts of the city. We walked and laughed and she shared little known facts and history along the way. I saw my daughter literally glow through the photos that Kaitlin took of her. As I have shared the photos with friends and family they are speechless, often saying that they are the best senior photos they have ever seen. I can only hope one day my daughter chooses together married in the CHS area so that Kaitlin can also photograph her wedding. Kaitlin did my daughters senior pictures. We were traveling through Charleston on vacation and didn’t know anyone in the area to get recommendations. However, my daughter loved Kaitlin’s online gallery and we were pleasantly surprised by her pricing after being shocked at the extremely high prices of some other photographers. Not only was Kaitlin very responsive (important for me since we were not from the area) but she also provided a recommendation for hair and makeup. Kaitlin is obviously fantastic, but spending five seconds looking through her pictures could tell you that. Her style has evolved over the years, and she just keeps getting better at what she does! The thing about her pictures that has always surprised me the most is that she is able to make any shoot beautiful, not matter where it is or what season it is. This I will never understand, because let's be honest, unless it's snowing, winter is not a pretty season. AND YET. Kaitlin's shoots over this past winter especially have been consistently gorgeous, and I can't figure out how she's doing it. If you're thinking about using Kaitlin for your graduation pictures, wedding pictures, engagement pictures, pictures just for kicks, you should do it. For photoshoots I always recommend wearing a little more makeup than you would on a regular day - think dressing up for a dance or evening out type of makeup. If you are comfortable doing your own hair and makeup, by all means have fun! If you'd rather not deal with the added stress, I'm happy to give you a list of hair and makeup artists in Charleston who my seniors rave about!
What do you recommend for hair and makeup?
If your shoot is at the beach or downtown Charleston, be prepared to turn your car into a dressing room! There are a few bathrooms downtown, but many of prettiest historic areas are residential with no restrooms nearby.
where do i change my clothes?
Yes, I sure do! My branding tends to be aimed more towards girls, but I love photographing senior guys too! To see some my Senior Guy gallery, click HERE.
do you photograph seniors guys?
No. After the session, I will go through the images and select the best photos and expressions from each pose and location, discarding duplicates or ones that are too blurry, have closed eyes, awkward hands, etc. If it's a good photo, you better believe it will be included in your gallery - after all, what would be the fun in leaving them hidden on my computer? ;)
do we select our own photos?
what happens in case of bad weather?
Weather in South Carolina is unpredictable at best. If the day of your session has rain, I will be in contact with you leading up to it. In the case of actual rain, it's best to reschedule. I leave my mornings open during busy season so that we have back-up options! If it's merely overcast, we can go ahead as planned since we can still have beautiful images!
*Beach sessions are the exception. Grey skies, grey water and grey sand make for some pretty dull photos!
