Colorful Fall Engagement in Charleston | Katie + Kyle

Katie and Kyle’s engagement session downtown was all kinds of awesome. These two traveled to Charleston to check out their venues for their wedding in May and explore a little bit of this beautiful city. We started their shoot in their fun, colorful outfits that were a little more casual, and then my jaw dropped when Katie whipped out this stunning red dress for the second half of the shoot. Red is probably my very favorite color to photograph, and I LOVE when my brides go for a more bold, dramatic look. I mean, why not take the chance to dress up and be gorgeous in such a pretty city?? We spent quite a bit of time along the Charleston Battery as the sun went down. These two were such sweethearts together and I had so much fun getting to know them and hearing their story of how they met. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!
