Lindsay and Hunter wedding at Folly Beach was so incredibly beautiful! Hunter’s family owns a beach house named Beach Music on Folly Beach, so the New York-based couple decided to tie the knot in Charleston surrounded by their family and friends. I loved all the personal touches throughout the day – Lindsay did all the planning and coordinating, and Hunter designed the map and invitations himself.
Lindsay and Hunter wanted bride and groom portraits at the beach as well as downtown Charleston to capture the city they were married in. So after a First Look at the beach, we headed Downtown and wandered around Rainbow Row, Meeting Street, and even Philadelphia Alley. Bride and groom portraits are my favorite part of the wedding day, and I absolutely loved that they valued portraits and planned plenty of time in their day for them!
The ceremony on the beach was beautiful and everyone was so laid back and happy. Lindsay’s bridesmaids are girls after my own heart. During the wedding party portraits on the beach, every time I turned around Lindsay and her bridesmaids were dancing and playing with their dresses, and it was so fun to watch! I loved seeing these girls have fun together and enjoy their pretty dresses. Lindsay and Hunter decided to do a Sparkler First Dance instead of a Sparkler Exit, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled! There’s something so romantic about having your first dance as husband and wife surrounded by your friends and sparkles!
